Installing FreeBSD?

I’m planning on installing FreeBSD onto a laptop, and making it a tri-boot sytem with WinXP, SuSE Linux 10.1, and FreeBSD. What I’m wondering is the differences with FreeBSD and Linux, and if I can make X work in it. What problems will I encounter? Who uses it, and what do you think of it? Are there any specific problems it has vs. Linux? Thanks
