Seesmic for Windows Launches:New twitter Client
Seesmic for Windows, whose preview will be available today, is a project that has been in the works for months. The goal was to allow outside developers to more easily integrate their products with Seesmic. The Windows version does that through a plug-in system that’s similar to what you’d find in Firefox.
That functionality is about to come to Seesmic though, and its moves today could change the dynamics of the Twitter app race. The company has just announced the launch of Seesmic for Windows on the stage of the Microsoft Professional Developers Conference. This is no Adobe AIR App: this is a fully-functional desktop program that utilizes some of the best features of Windows 7. It is available by request at Seesmic.com
