freebsd38 FreeBSD #ssh localhost and it add it to the trusted.list?

i typed in while loged into root.. “ssh localhost” i used the name localhost is that right? or should i have used a diffrent word like my localhost name? if i messed up that commad how can i remove localhost from the trusted database?

im trying to setup a remote connection from XP using putty if you know of any websites that tell you how step by step please let me know.

Logged in locally makes the use of ssh pointless. To connect from the XP machine you need to enter the host address of the remote machine.
