chrome os35 About gOS (GoogleOS), open source Google Chrome?
stormer asked:

Now that Google, has decided to create a OS, heavily based on linux – Ubuntu 8.04.1.

Why don’t they use Google Chrome? Instead of Firefox?
I know that gChrome is still in beta.
But could that be the reason?

Has anyone used gOS yet?

Yeah you are probably right that they use firefox because chrome is still a beta. Also, gOS may have started development before the chrome beta even came out. Maybe when gOS is released it will have chrome.

Because gChrome is still beta=not finished. That’s why they use firefox because it’s easy and adaptable to a lot of sites including the ones that requires internet explorer because it has this add-on to trick the sites.
