I have an Asus P5B with a Core 2 Duo processor and 4GB Ram, and everytime i try to install FreeBSD amd64, during boot it sees only 2GB (and no message of any memory being ignored). The installation goes on well, it is only fustrating that not all my ram is being used. Currently I use Ubuntu 8.10 amd64 and it sees approximative all of my memory (3.9 GB). Also my gentoo amd64 saw about the same amount of memory. So I guess it has to be FreeBSD

Windows is consuming the other 2Gb , FreeBSD amd64 shows only unused/free ram .
