Why Google Chrome for browsing?
I was reading ana rticle on bbc website while in work today about Google launching their own OS to whipe out Microsoft Windows almost completely.
However, they did start talking about the Google Chrome browser, they say it’s fast, and basically designed for people who use the internet ALOT, saying “for people who live on the internet”.
So does anyone have experience on what it’s like?
Why should I get it? Is it easy to use? My main concern is the security of it, will it be safe for em to replace Firefox? You know how those “certain” sites like to install things on your computer without you knowing / granting permission.

It’s worthless; trust me. I’ve built website’s before, so I know how Chrome works. IT SUCKS!!! It will also give so much of your personal information to Google that it isn’t even funny (Your name, where you live based on your IP address, what kind of sites you visit, when you use your computer the most, etc.) Plus, it’s slow. I have a computer that had 8 GB of RAM, and it still sucks.
It can not replace firefox. Chrome, on every computer I used it on, turned off all the security features of the computer. You will get viruses if you use Chrome. It’s best to stay with Firefox.

I’ve been using Chrome for the last few months, it’s fast, easy, simple and I’ve had no trouble with security so far.
This is the simplest browsers I’ve ever used, FireFox (which I used before this) took a while to load with it’s themes, add-ons etc, which although useful were at times annoying, this has none of those, just browsing and after using it for a while I got so comfortable with it that I’ve been using it ever since.
The best way to know if you’ll like it is to try to, so download it and see what you think, you can always delete it later.

I’ve used it a couple times and have it on my computer, but I prefer Firefox. Firefox blocks more ads and gives more features. Chrome has less features but can be faster at loading pages. So it comes down to if you like the features of Firefox or if you want the pages to load slightly faster.
