software207 What is the best software to use to back up my hard drive?
J Dawg (6 time champs) asked:

I want to back up my 80GB internal hard drive to my 1TB external hard drive. What is the best software to use so that if my internal drive crashes or something i can just get another one and start up right where i left off?

Price is not a concern.

Norton Ghost never let me down. I used it right up until I switched to Mac. I did a few system restores from Ghost and I never had a problem.

norton ghost or the free drive image. you can also download recovery manager free from hp site and use it on any pc its nice. it makes recovery restore cd and also will recover from the hard drive itself if you dont want to use a cd

Handy Backup Pro can do just that, and it’s quite inexpensive too.
