What software should I buy for making a band logo?
Me and my friends have a band and I will be getting a MacBook soon with all sorts of different music mixing software and tons of other stuff for us to work on. Problem is I don’t know what software I should choose for making our band logo. Any suggestions?

Hey!
The best way of designing your own logo is to use photoshop but it might take awhile to get used to using it but there are alot of tutorials on how to use it on youtube.
In terms of finding ideas for one your best bet is to go to deviantart.com and look up logos, or depending on what your band is like you may have to look up a word that is related with it such as “metal band logo”.

Instead of making one why don’t you search existing logo sites to find one ready made?
If you want to buy software for graphics I would recommend PhotoShop.

CorelDraw is King for logo design
or Freehand is OK if you want use lots of clever text manipulations even Illustrator is reasonable, but not very useful beyond the most basic
Dont use photoshop, its useless unless you are manipulating photos then it is the best around
