here is what i want u to do

1 . go to all programs
    - then click on " RUN"

2. Type in msconfig
    - after this you will see this label
     = system configuration utility

## then you will see 6 different folders labeled as follows :

* GENERALSYSTEM.INI.> WIN.INI>BOOT.INI>SERVICES> STARTUP ACROSS THE PAGE IN ONE STRAIT LINE

3. click on services

4. next find automatic updates

5. finally you are going to uncheck the automatic updates file

6. then you will click ok

7. after all of this you will recieve a message or a dialoge box saying the following:''

" you must restart your computer for some of the changes to take effect

please click on restart .

and let the computer finish loading completely

after all of this

step a : go into your control pannel and find something that says security center
once you have opened this
make sure that the automatic updates are of
eventhough it will do this automatically when you go into the MSCONFIG settings and uncheck the automatic updates . after all of this you will be set to go

please let me know how it goes by emailing me at any of the following adresses

i really would like to know how it all works out and what ever you do dont change anything when it comes to changing computers or anything trust me when i tell you that this will work

the problem is that it has problems with updates, so don't run the updates.
by doing so you may leave some vulnerabilities opened, so make sure you are behind a firewall.

Software firewalls like zonelabs can also help you partition your network so you can only access your other computer, but not the rest of the world.

Totally protected? Yes, the only way to be totally protected from Internet threats is to have a computer not connected to the Internet. Be sure also, that reports move only FROM the "Trados" computer TO the Internet computer. If you want total protection for the Trados computer, you have to assume that the Internet computer will have viruses, and you cannot move anything from that computer to "Trados."
