“Swine flu” is just a name. Yes, it is closely associated with pigs, but the viruses aren’t pigs nor are they biologically related to pigs.

Swine Flu is not contractable only by contact with swine. It is carriable via humans also. Therefore unless one who was barred from pork products, if they catch the disease, should not be judged by the disease’s name alone.

Eating the food is an abomination. Dietary laws are important but having a man-god is a pigger offense.

I would not worry. Even if you were medically allergic to pigs and got the swine flu you would not be ingesting any part of a pig in fact no part of the pig would enter your system. Just as we get human flu it does not mean that we have any molecule of a human inside of us. The viruses are an entity in their own right.
