Like charge cycle wise, not time. Like I heard it was 300 charges then you need to send in for replacement? If it is 300, is it 300 FULL charges? As in your iPhone dies, and won’t turn on because it has no battery? Or regardless any charges to the dock it counts?

I’m guessing it is 300 charges period. The batteries always work great for the 1st couple months. Then they begin to wear out which sucks. Your best bet is to just buy a battery for backup for your ipod.
That’s what I did. You can get a low priced battery from a store like

With everything turned on, it lasts around 5-6 hours. That is with GPS, Wifi, 3G, Medium Brightness and Push and Fetch for email functionality.

The iphone counts how long it was in use, that is the time the screen was on or the music was playing) and shows you how much time has passed since the last time you charged the phone to its fullest.

This way you get the true count of how many hours you will get.

I think it’s much more like near a 1000 cycles before you need to replace

It really depends on the number of cycles you go thru and how old the battery is

waiting until the battery is low will allow you to minimize the number of cycles your battery is going thru.

Cycle = Charge/Discharge

Also, you can always ask someone at Batteries Plus to test your battery ( )
