You can delete your account by signing in to Twitter with the account that you want deleted, go to “Settings” which is at the top-right corner of your page. Then, scroll down and click “Delete my account.”
There is no way to suspend your account, meaning to disable your account temporarily. You can rename your account by going to settings and typing your new username in the “Username” Form.

Log in, go to “Settings” and at the very bottom to the left click “Delete My Account.”
