How to stop the download process Nokia 6110 Navigator?

I have a Nokia 6110 and wanted to download something few days ago but I canceled but it seemed that the downloading icon is still there on the right top of the screen and consume my money (talk-time). How can I stop this? I went back to the downloading setting and found nothing to stop the downloading the process. Anybody knows?
