Julia asked:

I have 2 girls 14 and 13, they have been online and I have caught them doing a couple things they should not be doing. I moved the computer into the family room so we could keep a better eye on them and we still found them on sites they should not be on. We want to buy the tracking software any suggestions or know of free downloads?

I know how to look at websites that have been visited on the computer. up on your toolbar, there should be a picture of a clock with a green arrow pointing counter-clockwise. It is labeled “history.” When you click that, it opens a window that tells you what sites were visited and on what day, and you can visit these sites to see what they are about. This system comes free for me, and I have Internet explorer. If you do not have the icon, you can try to get it by clicking on view, and selevting toolbars. At the bottem, click “customize.” On the lefthand scrollbox, go down until you see that icon, and add it. I would not suggest going into your daughters’ lives too much, because the internet it where most teens express themselves, and they do deserve some privacy.

If the software doesn’t pan out, can you try putting security codes into your computer and or site limiting blocks.
