Seriously? Can you really catch swine flu from eating pig products?
Can you catch it from eating bacon and pork chops, etc?
Should I seriously throw out my stuff in the fridge and freezer and refrain from buying any future pork products, at least until this swine flu thing passes?

No you can’t get it from eating the food. You are fine.

No. Swine influenza viruses are not transmitted by food. You can not get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products. Eating properly handled and cooked pork and pork products is safe. Cooking pork to an internal temperature of 160°F kills the swine flu virus as it does other bacteria and viruses.
