nokia84 Is there a free way to convert a Multimedia memory card from a Nokia 6230 to a computer without the phone?
Stefanie P asked:

I have a memory card from a Nokia 6230 that seems quite large compared with my new phone and new memory cards. Is there any way to extract the pictures to my laptop without the phone? I managed to find a digital camera with the same memory slot size but it didn’t find any images but I know they’re on there. Is there anything else I can do?

Get a card reader!

No, a memory card cannot be converted into a computer, because there’s no place to plug in the keyboard, monitor, and mouse, and besides, they are too small to fit a hard drive in them.

Why not ask for what you actually want to do rather than going about things you don’t understand?
All you seem to want to do is extract the pictures off your phone memory card to your computer, is that correct? Then buy a card reader that’s plugs into your PC. Download Picasa first.
