We also use WindowsXP. We use a server to back-up are info every night. If your comfortable with the current operating system, I would just suggest getting a server for if a problem arises with one of the computers, your data is saved. Hope this helps. It sounds like the setup you have is probably the best set up for you. I dont think 5 workstations is worth setting up a server machine (server 2003). Just make sure to get the license issue taken care of. Also make sure that they are all running XP PRO. It has better networking features and administrative capabilites. Good Luck.
