I have a Microsoft Zune, which I love. Unfortunately, in order to use it, I have to go through the Zune Software, which I hate. Is there any other software I can use to transfer files between the PC and the Zune, as well as maintaining my library?

You can’t use other software to sync your Zune unless you use a hack such as zAlternator. Even then you still have to have the Zune program installed.

You can’t sync music into your Zune without the Zune software, but you can hack it and risk screwing up your Zune…

Amarok, Songbird, Media Monkey, and a long list of others. If you’re running windows, I’d definitely say Songbird is the best bet.
